2009 International Clean Energy Forum in Dongying

From October 28-30, 2009, the Chinese Renewable Energy Society, Dongying Government, and United Nations Industrial Development Organization Investment and Technology Promotion Office-China (UNIDO ITPO-China) hosted the 2009 International Clean Energy Forum in Dongying, Shandong Province.

More than a hundred representatives from clean technology companies, government agencies, industry associations, international organizations, investment firms, and the media met to discuss the development of clean technology enterprises in Dongying.  Participants attended lectures and panel discussions on the Chinese domestic clean energy market, technology development, industry directions, investor perspectives, and strategic goals for Yellow River Delta development.  On the concluding day of the forum, participants visited several clean technology companies, a wind farm, and the Yellow River Delta.
