Internal Staff

UNIDO ITPO-China employs highly trained staff who have academic qualifications (Masters or above) in fields including macroeconomics, management, commerce and finance. Each team member has at least 5 years employment experience in industrial development. Hence, the ITPO-team is equipped to provide institutions, enterprises and local government with the skillset required to meet the challenges of China's integration to the global economy. ITPO Working Teams

Specialized working teams are established for the implementation and management of development projects. Working teams are lead by a senior ITPO-China official. They consist of internal ITPO staff and temporarily employed field experts, appointed by the working teams director. Working teams are a highly efficient method for the implementation of development projects and have been successfully applied across the country.

ITPO Professional Expert Committees

UNIDO ITPO-China has established two professional expert committees to oversee the fairness, professionalism, and feasibility of sector-specific ITPO projects. They also ensure that projects adhere to the prerequisites of sustainable industrial development in China.

1) China Medical Industry Expert Committee
UNIDO established a medical industry committee in order to meet the growing demands of public health sectors following China's accession to the global economic market. Committee membership consists of a number of management and finance medical industry professionals, all of whom are experts in their fields. They are experienced in fields of medical treatment, hospital management and medical industry finance. The group includes medical doctorsof an international standard, presidents of Chinese or foreign hospitals and hospital management groups and general managers of strategic investment companies in the medical sector.

2) China Green Industry Expert Committee
This group functions to ensure the environmental sensitivity of ITPO industrial development projects. The committee comprises experts from 29 of China's industrial sectors and includes 128 senior professionals, 11 academics and 38 Phd directors.
