The United Nations Industrial Development Organization Investment and Technology Promotion Office–China provides a wide range of professional services that facilitate China's access to investment resources, technology, marketing and managerial skills as well as inward and outward investment and technology transfer.

Along this process UNIDO is proud of the mutual support exchanged with many NGOs essential for building a steady platform which allows the contribution from both sides by sharing information, networking, human and financial resources and local/international experience.

Cooperation opportunities include workshops and seminars aimed at sharing experience and exchanging opinions, training course development and training activities, expert exchange for independent commenting and evaluating each other’s project, co-finance industrial cluster development and capital operation project in China, co-host industrial cluster development and capital operation events in China with the general aim of providing support to share both international and local knowledge and experience.

The Office also plays many other roles, acting as a consultant to the formulation of government policy and decision making, a facilitator enabling access to domestic and international resources, a supporter in the implementation of development projects and an organizer of forums and cooperation platforms covering a broad range of fields.

The cooperation between UNIDO and NGOs strongly helps to establish and update the current innovation industries’ operation and management during China’s critical stage of industrial development and capital operation providing research, consultation and assistance to ease the process of internationalization of local sectors and enterprises.
